Gordon Akpoduado was admitted into the employ of the Petroleum Training Institute on the 22nd September, 1988 as an Accounts Clerk on Salary Grade Level 4.  By the grace and mercies of God, he rose through the ranks over the years to the rank of Deputy Director, Accounts with effect from 1^st January, 2018. He was later deployed to cover the duties of the Director, Finance & Accounts, in acting capacity, from 1^st August, 2021 to date.

He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Idah. He equally holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Delta State University, Abraka, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration also from the Delta State University, Abraka, as well as a Post-Graduate, Professional Diploma in Accountancy from the Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos.

Gordon is a member of a number of Professional Associations. He is a Fellow, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria; Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria; Member, Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ireland, United Kingdom; Member, Nigerian Institute of Management; Member, Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also duly registered as a Corporate Professional with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.

He is committed to serving God and humanity with selfless passion, and integrity, maintaining, at all times, a clear conscience before God. He is married, and blessed with children. His hobbies are Chess and Swimming.
