Mr. Ugochukwu Ibekwe is a distinguished economist and seasoned administrator with over two decades of dedicated service to the Institute.
Mr. Ibekwe holds both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Economics, providing him with a rigorous analytical foundation that has defined his professional trajectory. Complementing his academic background, he is a Certified Human Resources Practitioner, a credential that highlights his expertise in organizational development and strategic talent management.
Throughout his 22-year tenure at the Institute, Mr. Ibekwe has served in various high-impact capacities, demonstrating versatility and a deep understanding of institutional operations. His leadership journey reached a significant milestone in September 2024, when he was appointed Managing Director, PTI Consult Services . He transitioned into this executive role from his previous position as Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, where he was instrumental in maintaining academic excellence and streamlining departmental processes
